The left-behind children and their psychological health is always an important and difficultly-settled issue that the educational authorities in Hubei Province keeping focusing on.In order to pursue higher level of material life,migrant workers are getting increased.Correspondingly,increasingly more children are left behind.As an educational practitioner,I have engaged in preliminary education for a long time,so the psychological health rose within the left-behind children from such a special group and the resolution to resolve it through group guidance intrigue me most.I engaged in group guidance on left-behind children,and randomly selected 150 left-behind children from Peng City Middle School.Through Mental Health Test(MHT)on them,by means of either recommendation by head teachers or voluntariness,we recruited 29 students who had serious psychological health problem to conduct group guidance on for 7 times which lasted 14 weeks.After this activity,those 29 students were tested.After the analysis of the former and the later statistics,the observation of researchers and the feedbacks of the participants were synthesized.The findings are illustrated as follows:(1)The level of left-behind children's learning anxiety and impulse tendency is p.<001 and these two factors have obvious differences;the level of allergy tendency and panic tendency also vary a lot;in other factors,left-behind children have small differences on other factors.(2)The left-behind children have distinct differences on the level of lonely tendency and accusation tendency which is p<.001;they also differ a lot on the factor of impulse tendency which is p<.05;they vary little on the factors of anxiety to people,study anxiety,and physical symptoms with a level of P>.05.That The severe problems keeps bothering the psychological health of the left-behind children in Tianmen does merit close attention across the board.In addition,special attention should also be paid to the divergent forms in which the psychological troubles are embodied in male and female respectively,and accordingly,gender-differentiated measures of psychological intervention are supposed to be employed have the issues better resolved.In the end,through the research conducted before,a conclusion could be safely obtained that the group guidance with a specific target has a practical significance,and is conducive to the enhancement of the left-behind children's psychological health.
