| Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore whether there are differences between the mental health,resilience and social support of left-behind children and that of non-left-behind children,under the new station that the party,the state and the governments at all levels give them in-depth care,This study also aims to evaluate the relationships among mental health,resilience and social support in middle school students.Method:From March to June 2019,1686 middle school students were investigated by means of convenient sampling,with Mental Health Test,CD-RISC and Social Support Research Scale.Datewere then input the SPSS statistical software and analyzed by the means of Pearson correlation analysis,t-test ANOVA,and regression analysis.Result:(1)The difference in mental health,resilience and social support between left-behind children and non-left-behind children was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(2)There was a significant negative correlation between the resilience of left-behind children and the total score of MHT.(3)The scores of left behind children in different grades are different in the terrorist tendency factors of mental health.The scores of the first and second grade students are higher than those of the third grade students,and the differences are statistically significant(p<0.05).(4)There were significant difference in gender in left-behind children’Terror tendency,Social support and Objective support(p<0.05).(5)The scores of non only left behind children were higher than that of only left behind children,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).(6)There were no significant difference in mental health,resilience and social support between school-dwelling and non-school-dwelling left-behind children(p>0.05).(7)The scores of mental health and social support of high resilience left behind children were higher than that of low resilience left behind children,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).(8)The resilience and optimism of psychological resilience and the utilization of social support have significant effects on mental health.(9)There were significant differences in social support,psychological resilience and mental health between different relationship groups of left-behind children and left-behind caregivers(p<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The care of the central,local and social forces for the left-behind children has a positive impact on their mental health.There was no significant different in mental health level between the left-behind children and the non-left-behind children.(2)Girls who were left-behind experienced more objective support than boys did.(3)The higher the resilience,the higher the social support,the better the mental health level.(4)Left-behind children who were in higher grade tended to have less terror tendency.(5)Left-behind children with high resilience tended to have higher social support and healthier mental state.(6)Psychological resilience and social support have significant predictive power on mental health.Mental health can be predicted by resilience,optimism and the utilization of social support.(7)The relationship between left-behind children and left-behind caregivers affects the mental health of left behind children.We can improve the psychological resiliency,social support and mental health of left-behind children by improving and strengthening their relationship. |
