This essay dwells upon the experiment and research on platform diver’s initial take-off leaping technique,the aims of which are nothing but to increase the jump range of the athletes and improve their performances.Practices,studies and analyses have been made upon the initial take-off leaping technique based upon hydromechanics,biomechanics and structural mechanics.Quite a lot of data consultation,interviews with coaches and athletes,experiment and training of both double-footed and single-footed leaping with the swimming athletes from Shijiazhuang Swim School and even the best players of provincial level as well,old and new techniques comparisons,effect analyses and mathematical statistics have been done in the whole research project,all of which have contributed fully to the achievement of the expected results.Research results show that the traditional initial take-off leaping technique has defects and there is a lot to improve.Appropriate movements and adjustments of an athlete’s hands,arms,main body,thighs and calves,and smooth and harmonious movements of all the muscles can bring about a much faster initial leap speed for take-off.The hands and arms lift the gravity centre and supply the rapid upward force,and if with a 30° projection angle,an athlete can jump farther and loiter longer.And with the brand-new initial take-off leaping technique,athletes can surely achieve better performances.The research conclusion:1,this thesis start swimming single foot jump technique by Newton’s three law,fluid mechanics and biomechanics of the comprehensive analysis,calculation,find the starting platform jumping the most reasonable angle between 30-37 degrees,jump the farthest distance.2,the improved single foot unique take-off movement technology core advantage is:players can directly transfer the whole body muscle groups and orderly,coordinate and participate in work force,fast leaps,the power stroke maximization;power in half before the full use of upper limb muscle in the human body to accelerate the work,then the torso upward force to hold up,the body produces fast forward,moving over the top.3,as proved by the 1-6 week experiment,the technology of some training experience single foot jump swimming athletes have obvious improvement effect distance.4,due to time constraints,resulting in selection and training and quality content is not standard and other factors,six weeks after the take-off distance,and no statistical significance after a week,further research.
