Correlation Analysis Of Boys’ Technical Swimming Events And Individual Events In National Children’s Swimming Competition

Sport technique plays a vital role in the competitive ability and athletic performance of swimmers,and the athletes’ technical training is a key focus in training during the amateur training period for children and adolescents.This article examines the data of the boys’ technical swimming events of the national children’s swimming competitions from 2016 to 2018 to explore the relationship between technology and athletic performance in the 10-year-old age group of the national children’s swimming competitions,and to analyze the effect of technique on the development of male athletes’ performances in the younger age group based on the data of multiple competitions at different times so that can provide information which have reference value for age group coaches’ training.In this article,the technical swimming events,results,rankings and scores of each individual event in the boys’ 10-year-old group in a total of four competitions from the 2016 National Children’s Swimming Championships to the 2018 National Children’s Swimming Championships were used as the research objects;the literature method,expert interview method,mathematical and statistical method and case study method were used as research methods to elaborate the correlation between athletes’ technical swimming events and their individual events,and track individual athletes on a case-by-case basis compare the performance development of athletes with different technical levels in multiple competitions.Through this research,we have reached the following conclusions:1.In the national children’s swimming competitions,except for the medley all-around,the other 4 all-around technical swimming events are highly related to each individual event of the all-around.The better the athlete’s performance in the technical swimming events,the higher the technical level and the more outstanding the individual performance.In other words,coaches attaches great importance to technical training,so his athletes have outstanding performance in technical swimming events,and thus have excellent individual performance.2.In the national children’s swimming competitions,the correlation between freestyle technical swimming events and four 50-meter medley all-around events is low,which can’t fully reflect the technical level of the four strokes of the medley athletes and the conversion ability between each stroke of the medley.3.In the national children’s swimming competitions,the correlation coefficients between the four technical swimming events of butterfly,backstroke,breaststroke and freestyle and each individual event of all-around showed that,the closer the energy supply mode of each individual event of all-around and the technical swimming events,the higher their correlation coefficients,while the longer the competition distance,the lower the correlation coefficients.4.According to the performance tracking and data comparison of individual athletes,in the national children’s swimming competitions,the athletes with outstanding performance in technical swimming events of the year showed the characteristics of rapid improvement in performance and large growth in subsequent competitions.
