| The competency of management talents in university refers to management personnel in university should have a variety of comprehensive quality to complete the job well. Studying it not only enrich the public human resources management theory, but also afford reference and enlightenment to talents selection, training and development of colleges.On the basis of literature study and open questionnaire, we used the self-made “The competency of management talents in university” questionnaire to investigate 216 management talents. Then, we explored the relations of the competency of management talents in university and performance. The main conclusions are as follows:First, the competency of management talents in university questionnaire has good reliability and validity, it contains the driving force, execution, self-control.Second, the total average of the competency of management talents in university is 3.713, influenced by gender, age, education, etc. Gender and education, gender and age have significant interaction effects.Third, there is a significant correlation between the competency of management talents in university and job performance. Competency has a positive predictive effect on job performance.According to the current situation, it can improve the level of competency from driving force, execution, self-control. |
