A Study Of The Status Quo And Countermeasures Of The Entrepreneurial Activities Of Graduate Students

In the age of knowledge economy,the uprising of knowledge economy is constantly facilitating the industrialization of high technology,all of which is inseparable from the group of graduate students who possess the intellectual resources and the advantages of scientific research.With the increasing competition among different industries and the constant expansion of the scale of graduate students,the society holds higher expectations for the capabilities of graduate students,and,therefore,the landscape of their employment has changed in a degree and become a bit bleak.The graduate students are confronting employment predicament.Under this circumstance,the entrepreneurship of graduate students emerges as a hot topic for the discussion of people from all walks of life.Governments from all levels,colleges and universities,as well as social organizations start to pay increasing attention to the entrepreneurial activities of graduate students and explore and dig their entrepreneurial potential.In the support of cooperative facilitating efforts from domestic policy,society as well as colleges and universities,the government has currently put forward a series of policies in hope of fostering entrepreneurial activities of college students,for example,establishing pioneer parks,business incubators,and providing entrepreneurs with entrepreneurial places and tax relief.Entrepreneurial activities of high-level talents are increasing day by day,they solve employment problems of their own,and meanwhile create a certain number of jobs,enabling more people to be employed,and thus alleviate the current employment pressure of graduates to a certain extent and broaden the channels of employment.The entrepreneurship of graduate students has its particular value,but also faces different problems and challenges.In this paper,questionnaires and interviews are adopted in order to learn about the reasons and status quo of entrepreneurship of graduate students in pioneer parks and business incubators,graduate students' satisfaction with the current supporting efforts for their entrepreneurship coming from the government,society,and colleges and universities,and the current predicament of the entrepreneurship of graduate students.Using SWOT analysis theory,the writer analyzes a typical case in depth,which involves analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of graduate students from colleges and universities,and then put forward suggestions and countermeasures facilitating the entrepreneurship of graduate students from four stakeholders:the government,colleges and universities,society and the individual graduate student based on the experience of the activities of facilitating entrepreneurship of college students in hope of providing some guidance and reference for entrepreneurial activities of graduate students and even other groups.
