| In a human resources management system,compensation system and management system play critical roles,it is of great realistic significance for exploring problems with a compensation system and establishing one based on motivation theories.These years,the Catering Center of Xiamen University Logistics Group has developed steadily.The compensation system still has to be further improved in view of some problems and deficiencies.Thus,managers at all levels and all employees have been gradually concerned about how to make the salary distribution system more fair and how to bring the incentive roles of the compensation system into better play.Therefore,it may not only effectively stimulate employees,but also development the catering center.This paper intends to exemplify the Catering Center of Xiamen University Logistics Group as a case and investigate problems with its incentive compensation.It systematically analyzes present organizational structure and human resources of the catering center pursuant to theories about compensation management,performance appraisal and management.In addition,it analyzes existing compensation and performance management systems,to clarify existing major problems.An idea is put forward relatively systematically for compensation design with many incentive roles according to general design principles,procedures and methods under the supportt of incentive theories from in view of bringing incentive roles of compensation into play.The most importance feature of this design idea is to adjust original wage structure and reset position/performance-based compensations.It is hoped that this plan can be used as effective reference for the Catering Center of Xiamen University Logistics Group to determine its compensation and make certain contribution to the center’s goals of strategic planning. |
