Imitation is human nature,is an important mechanism for children to learn.Research in the past have shown that children’s imitation is affected by many factors.With the rapid development of electronic technology,there are more and more ways for children to learning through the imitation.The presentation of video and other electronic media has become a new way for children to imitate.What this research wants to explore is the difference and development trend of imitation behavior of children aged 3-5 years under different demonstration modes,and with there development,how children’s imitation behavior to change,is also the focus of this article.In addition,through this study,to explore the influence of different presentation methods on children’s imitation learning,and to provide an empirical basis for kindergarten teaching.In this research,four different demonstrations were designed to test the imitation behavior of children aged 3-5 years old in different presentation modes,and the.The subjects were 307 children aged 3-5 years.The first way is live demonstration;the second is immediate demonstration through the video call;the third is to watch the demonstration from the video tape with the experimenter in the testing site;the forth is to watch the demonstration from the video tape without the experimenter in the testing site.The results show that children ’s imitation behavior is different in different presentation ways;moreover,the older children are more willing to imitate the behavior of the presenter;the girls imitate the action of the presenter more than the boy.The results of this research are as follows: In different demonstration modes,children have different rates of imitation of four actions,namely: the highest rate of all four imitations of children is the first demonstration,followed by the second demonstration,followed by the third demonstration,the lowest is the forth demonstration;with the grow of age,in each demonstration mode,the children of thefour actions imitation of the ratio gradually increased;girls imitate more than the boys.According to the conclusion of the research,the author puts forward the following suggestions: Kindergarten activities should be based on teachers’ live guidance,reasonable and careful to join video call,video and other teaching forms;we should adjust the frequency of multimedia teaching gradually according to the age characteristics of young children;teachers should treat the differences shown in the study of different sex children rationally;in kindergarten education,we should pay attention to the use of social communication information.
