Games are children's instincts and play an important role in children's growth and development.Games can promote children's development in terms of cognition,emotion,language,and social aspects.For preschool children,games are an indispensable part of learning.Compared with ordinary children's development,the defects of children's abilities of autism seriously affect the development of their cognitive,social,and other aspects.In the existing methods for children's autism game skill intervention,the video demonstration teaching is based on the social learning theory and combines the visual advantages of children with autism.As a relatively novel intervention model,it has brought great teaching experience.The convenience.The purpose of this study is to explore whether video demonstration teaching is effective in the intervention of preschool autistic children's functional play skills.The teaching model of video demonstration teaching was adopted.Lego toys that were used by the participants were selected as the teaching content.From the perspective of the research subjects,the demonstration video was produced using the adult demonstration model.At the same time,a single test cross-behavior multi-baseline experimental design was used to Four-year-old children with autism have been intervened in three functional play skill goals:"Simple Building RC Cars,""Intermediate Building Ships," and "Advanced Piling Up Puppy," through the teaching of parents and teachers.Interview questionnaires were used to establish the social validity of the study.Visual analysis was used to organize and analyze the experimental results.Finally,the effects of video demonstration teaching on preschool children with autism had been discussed.The results of this study indicate that video demonstration teaching has a good immediate effect,maintenance effect,classifying effect and social validity on the intervention of preschool autistic children's functional play.In addition,the researchers briefly analyzed and discussed the reasons for the effectiveness of video demonstration teaching,and provided suggestions for future related research.It is hoped that this will provide some reference for future research.
