Long-standing bullying in the campus has become a thorny problem in education of the world.In China,with the case of school bullying to light,all works of life come to realize the gravity of bullying and the lagging of domestic education policy and legislation.How to solve these problems has been becoming the current hot topic in our country.Through many years' prove and practice,the United Kingdom and Australia have enacted many bullying policies and established prevention and control system which have got good results.In order to learn from the successful experience of developed countries,this paper undertakes a study on bullying policy of UK and Australia to introduce their implementation and compare their sameness and differences.Finally,this paper will sum up their useful experience of bullying policy and provide guidelines for our country.From the origin of the topic,this paper carefully combs the research both at home and abroad and elaborates the theory and connotation of bullying such as definition,type,roles,causes,status and impact,and then overview the total situation and make a comparison from three aspects of bullying policy in background factors,policy content and governance effectiveness of UK and Australia.At last,the paper will summarize their own characteristics and put forward the following suggestions in combination with the existing policy of our country: anti-bullying policy network highly legalized,strict with schools to promulgate anti-bullying plan,pay attention to the actual research and policy update,emphasize the parallelism between the supervision and reporting,strengthen the professional training of faculty and staff,enhance the student's subjectivity and participation,and strengthen the propagandistic effect of online media.
