Abstract/Summary:
Physics demonstrative experiment is not only the basis of high school physics teaching,but also the teaching content,teaching method and teaching technique of it.Physical demonstrating experiment plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating and improving students’ scientific literacy.However,the fact is that there are some outstanding problems in demonstrating experiment teaching,such as the lack of emphasis on the demonstrating experiment,the low carrying out degree of demonstrating experiment,the imperfection of demonstrating experiment instruments,the single teaching technique of demonstrating experiment,the shortage of demonstrating experiment equipments.Besides,the existing experimental equipments are operated tediously,whose displaying degree is not high enough to achieve the purposes of classroom demonstration.Therefore,the author selects senior high school physics demonstrating experiment teaching improvement strategy as the research topic.This paper presents the related researches of physics demonstrative experiments problems as well as some solutions of it.Based on the theory of constructivism and cognitive theory,this paper discusses the basic types of high school physics demonstration experiment from the characteristics of high school physics curriculum standard(experimental),combined with the characteristics of high school physics demonstration experiment and the author’s teaching experience in recent four years.According to the current physics teaching situation,this research puts forward improvement principles of senior high school physics demonstration experiment teaching:(1)the principle of purpose,(2)scientific principle,(3)the principle of feasibility,(4)the principle of simplicity,(5)obvious principle,(6)interesting principle,(7)guiding principle.It also puts forward the improvement strategies of high school physics demonstration experiment teaching,and uses these strategies to improve eight physics demonstration experiments in physics textbooks published by People’s Education Publishing House from instruments and teaching techniques.The effects of the strategies are reflected by evaluation.This paper summarizes the main strategies of improving the teaching of high school physics demonstration experiment:(1)expanding and extension strategy,(2)simplifying strategy,(3)enlarging strategy,(4)hidden to apparent strategy,(5)old for new strategy,(6)turning ordinary into wonderful strategy.This paper puts forward the improvement strategies and corresponding teachingsuggestions for different types of high school physics demonstration experiments.The teaching suggestions are as follows:(1)familiar with the contents of teaching materials and improve the experiment properly;(2)define the purpose of improvement and choose right strategies;(3)innovative demonstration experiment,and make students participate in experiment teaching;(4)select the objects for daily use and design simple experiment;(5)use modern technology properly to optimize the demonstration experiment.Finally,the paper presents some reflections of the research and puts forward some suggestions for further study.suggestions:(1)familiar with the contents of teaching materials,improve the experiment properly;(2)make clear the purpose of improvement,and correct the improvement of the experiment.Choose the strategy;(3)innovative demonstration experiment,so that students participate in experimental teaching;(4)select the living items,design simple experiment;(5)rational use of modern technology,optimize the demonstration experiment.Finally,the research work of the reflection and outlook.
