| Physics is a subject based on the experiment, and demonstration experiment is animportant part of senior high school physics experiment teaching, thus, demonstrationexperiment teaching is very important of physics teaching in senior high schools. But, inthe traditional physics teaching, teachers ignore the demonstration experiment teachingfor a long time, which leads to the theoretical knowledge with the real life and so on.With the concept of new curriculum and the rapid development of modern science, thestatus quo of physical lecture experimental teaching according to the great changes hadtaken place, but has not yet fully meeting the requirements of new curriculum reform.Beginning with the theory of demonstration experiment and under the guidance ofthe physics curriculum criterion, as well as considering the characteristics of physicsexperiment demonstration teaching, the article pointed out the problems of physicsexperiment demonstration teaching and put forward strategies to solve these problemsafter surveying conducted among teachers and students in senior high schools inLuoyang. The main content of investigation including four aspects: teachers andstudents understanding of demonstration experiment and experimental performance, thecompletion of the demonstration experiment, the opening situation of laboratories insenior schools.
