In recent years,the high school mathematics unit teaching design has become one of hot topics in the study of basic education," sequence" occupies an important position in the high school mathematics,with " sequence " relevant content for clues for unit teaching design has a certain practical significance.Using literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,teaching material analysis method etc,to research the three basic questions.First,how about the students' prior knowledge and cognitive level of "the sequence" unit? What are the aspects of learning difficulties students may? Second,the status of "sequence" in high school mathematics curriculum and knowledge network is what kind of? Third,based on the students' cognitive analysis of present situation and the course,how to adjust the teaching aim of "sequence" unit,teaching design,unit frame,teaching scheduling?The study found that first,the study about "sequence",students learn in different period showed different characteristics of learning.Students showed the more senior the lower enthusiasm to sequence study,different classmate of students have different cognitive level of sequence learning,the students' understanding does not reach the designated position about the sequence' function nature.Second,sequence has a higher place in the high school mathematics curriculum,and sequence has the close relationship with function,algorithm,differential and integral calculus,permutation and combination,equation,inequality and so on.Third,the way of appearing about "sequence" content of different versions of the textbook is different.Fourth,from the point of view of mathematics thinking method,equations and systems of thought,analogy thought,inductive thought,several form combining ideas,classification discussion ideas,reduction and transformation,function thought,algorithm thought and so on all reflected in sequence unit.Fifth,based on the two-sided thinking of students and teaching material,sequence units teaching goal and framework had been adjusted accordingly,and suggesting in the "sequence" unit teaching,to grasp the teaching material as a whole,to pay attention to penetration of mathematical thinking and mathematical method,to focus on the students' active participation and the development of knowledge and so on.
