In recent years,the oral teaching part of the language-teaching outline is greatly reformed.But in teaching practice,its actual status is still far less than reading and writing,with pupils' oral ability development not ideal.The purpose of this study is to learn about the actual status of the pupils' oral ability through the oral test,to find out the problems of current oral teaching from students' perspective,and to provide a solution to the oral teaching problems in primary school.The theoretical value of this paper lies in clarifying the concept of "pupils' oral proficiency".The practical value lies in trying to construct the evaluation index system of primary school students' oral ability from six levels:topic,pronunciation,word,lexicon,sentence,passage.This paper describes the factors that affect the development of spoken language ability of primary school students,and puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of oral Chinese in primary schools.This article is divided into nine chapters to elaborate.The first chapter is the introduction,introducing the research background,research purpose and research thought,reviewing the previous research on "oral ability" and primary school oral teaching,defining the connotation of this article's research object "pupils' oral ability",and introducing the research value of this paper and four main research methods,which are field research,norm construction,corpus construction and regression analysis.Chapter 2 is the theory of speaking ability.The "oral language communicative ability"in current "Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standards" is analyzed.The concept of "speaking ability" and "oral language communicative ability" is distinguished.The "pupils' oral ability" in this thesis is clarified as the ability of using Chinese mandarin accurately,fluently and vividly to state seeing and believing,and express opinions or feelings.This chapter also introduces the detailed content and its applications of the index system of pupils' oral ability norm constructed in this thesis.Chapter 3 to Chapter 8 is the data display and analysis part of the measurement of 15 norm indicators of primary school students' oral ability,which include the oral topic,pronunciation,characters,lexicons,sentences and length.By showing the statistics of the norm or classification statistics,and the regression analysis of norm parameters,there are some findings.The oral ability of the three semesters is gradually improved from the low period to the high school segment,and the performance of oral ability on each index is affected by the school type of urban or rural,grade differences,the type of topic and other factors by varying degrees.Chapter 9 is the conclusion.The students' oral ability is mainly manifested in two aspects:the spoken language ability is generally low and the oral ability develops unbalanced.We discuss the factors that affect the fluency,complexity and accuracy of primary school students.It is found that the fluency of primary school students is influenced by school grades,urban or rural types and topic types,and is not affected by gender.The complexity of primary school students' spoken language is greatly influenced by grades and topics,less affected by the urban or rural types,and not affected by gender;the accuracy of primary school students' spoken language is greatly influenced by the urban or rural types of school and grades,less affected by the topic types,almost unaffected by gender.Chapter 10 is the suggestions part.According to the conclusions of the study and the results of the interview,the author puts forward some suggestions on the primary school oral language teaching from the perspectives of consciousness and practice.From the level of consciousness,it is recommended to strengthen the emphasis on oral teaching,in particular,to strengthen the emphasis on rural oral teaching,while paying attention to the balance of student training.From the practical level,it is recommended to improve the "oral communication" part of the teaching content in primary school language curriculum standards from the three aspects of teaching objectives,teaching suggestions and teaching evaluations,to organize well-ordered and rich teaching content,and to expand the oral training channels.
