Unit instructional design expands the visual field of instructional design from class to unit.It attaches importance to the convergence of teaching content and higher level of teaching objectives such as the process and method,the emotional attitudes and values.It makes teachers stand on a higher level to think about teaching content from the overall point of view.Compared with the class instructional design,there are more and more teachers like unit instructional design.In order to explore how to carry out mathematical unit instructional design better,historical literature,cases studies and interview are used as research methods in this study.This study focuses on the following issues:the problems in the current instructional design of the mathematics teachers in high school,the factors that affect the effective implementation of the instructional design of the mathematics teachers in high school and the measures to improve the level of instructional design of the mathematics teachers in high school.We found the following problems through the cases of plane vector unit instructional design.In the preprocessing session:(1)The integrity of the content in the factors analysis is not enough;(2)The distinguish between unit and class in difficulty is not clear.In the development and designing session:(1)The integrity of unit teaching objectives is not enough;(2)The convergence of class planning and unit is defective.On the basis of case analysis,getting the causes of the above problems through the interview.There are teachers' personal subjective factors and objective factors.Teachers' personal subjective factors include the value recognition and the theoretical grasp of unit instructional design.Objective factors include the cooperation team and research and reference material.Based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward five strategies and suggestions for the mathematics teachers in high school and the schools aiming at the problems in unit instructional design.For teachers,we should raise the understanding of the value of unit instructional design and strengthen the study of the theory about mathematical unit instructional design,and the study includes clarifying theinstructional design of the various links and the interrelationship between the elements,clearing the specific content of the elements,understanding of teaching objectives and unit teaching objectives.For the schools,should build a teaching team and cooperate with the training unit to build a platform for teachers.On the same time,they also should provide a lot of reference materials.
