The Research Of Emotional Quotient Cultivation On Ideological And Political Education Of High Vocational College Students

In the new century,China is a period with high-speed development of economy and rapid transformation of the society.Because of the pace of people’s life and social increase gradually,emotional problems occur frequently.Psychological problems such as depression,obsessive compulsive disorder,hyperactivity,irritability increased significantly.And the occurrence trends to the young generation.Therefore,the cultivation and improvement of emotional quotient as the core of the "emotional education" is particularly important and urgent which has aroused widespread attention from all sectors of society.EQ is the core of emotions,it is not only a kind of wisdom itself,but also a capacity from the depths of the soul.This capacity can both from congentially and be improved through continuous changes of the environment.The formation of EQ is a complete process,starts in infancy,forms in childhood and becomes mature and stable in young adults.Then people’s EQ will change constantly with all aspects of the society.Students of vocational college is a special group with distinct personality and strong self-expression.However,the lack of competitive,the complex external environment and the severe employment pressure.All these can easily cause all kinds of emotional problems of the students in vocational colleges.Which will affect the healthy development both physically and mentally and the talents cultivation in vocational colleges.Therefore,the issue of EQ training of vocational college students must pay close attention to.A person’s success is affected by many factors,and the IQ is the essential one.While one’s outlook on life,world outlook,values and his personality,patience,perseverance,emotional management and other emotional characteristics also determine their success towards life and career.The fundamental starting point of ideological and political education is to educate people,train people to improve their overall quality and guide people to the correct direction of development.So the ideological and political education of higher vocational colleges must be combined with the cultivation of students’ EQ.It not only fully reflect the contemporary educational philosophy of humanization and people-centeredness and effectively improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education,but also lay a solid foundation of the growth of college students and the achievement of talent training objectives.This paper is composed of four parts except for the introduction and conclusion: The first part is to discuss how to improve the EQ training of vocational students in the view of ideological and political education,to analyze the problems in EQ training of vocational students,and try to find the corresponding solutions,ideas and ways.First of all,starting from the connotation of EQ training and ideological and political education,this paper analyzes the relationship between EQ cultivation and ideological and political education.Secondly,it comes up with the training content,characteristics and basic principles ideological and political education.Selectively analysis the current situation of vocational students emotional intelligence and the influence factors.In view of the above problems,this paper discusses the internal and external ways to enhance the students’ EQ cultivation under the ideological and political education,on the basis of the typical case combining the ideological and political education and EQ cultivation in some vocational colleges.The author believes that the cultivation of EQ and ideological and political education of college students complement each other.Attach importance to the cultivation and promotion of EQ of college students,which will also help to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.It is also a major issue facing the reform of ideological and political education.
