Research On The Status Quo, Problems And Countermeasures Of Students' Ideological And Political Education In Private Higher Vocational Colleges

Private higher vocational colleges are a special component of higher education in our country,and their students are different in ideology,psychology and behavior compared to those of ordinary institutions of higher learning.At present,the academic circle has basically perfected the theory construction of the research on ideological and political education of college students.However,there is much room for improvement in the research on ideological and political education of students in higher vocational colleges.Therefore,based on the actual situation and characteristics of private vocational college students,this paper makes a full study of the current situation,problems and countermeasures of ideological and political education of students in private vocational colleges so as to promote the all-round development of students,construct harmonious campus,and enhance China's strategic development capabilities through strict personnel training measures.Aiming to establish a sound ideological and political education system for private higher vocational colleges,this paper discusses in depth the ideological and political education in private vocational colleges in terms of the characteristics of those students,finding out the problems and putting forward the corresponding solutions to strengthen the ideological and political education of private higher vocational college students by means of comprehensive education and management.This paper consists of five parts.The first part studies the relevant background of ideological and political education in private higher vocational colleges,and expands research ideas by studying other people's achievements.The second part summarizes the theory of ideological and political education in private higher vocational colleges,including the guiding ideology,function,and the necessity of carrying out ideological and political education in private higher vocational colleges.Such education in private higher vocational colleges functions as assimilation and cohesion,guiding and constraint,and adjustment and consolation.The need for ideological and political education in private higher vocational colleges is mainly reflected in the need of students' self development and the results of higher education popularization.The third part studies the ideological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of students in private higher vocational colleges.The ideological characteristics are mainly embodied in their weak ideological and political consciousness,value diversification and emphasis on realism,lack of sense of responsibility and paying attention to personal interests while ignoring collective interests.Psychological characteristics are mainly embodied in the interaction between inferiority and self-esteem,lack of self restraint and strong reverse psychology.The characteristics of behavior are mainly embodied in their good performance of expertise,blindness and randomness of behavior and excellent ability of self adjustment.The fourth part studies the problems of ideological and political education of private vocational college students through questionnaire survey,and analyzes the causes of the problems,mainly including the factors of students themselves,their families,schools and social factors.The fifth part analyzes the countermeasures in the following three aspects:changing the concept of education in private higher vocational colleges and improving the working mechanism,enriching the content of ideological and political education,and innovating education methods in private higher vocational colleges.The realization of the first aspect depends on the establishment of a clear responsibility mechanism of division of labor,an efficient information feedback mechanism,and a standardized and effective safeguard mechanism.The second aspect could be achieved by creating a good learning atmosphere,strengthening the construction of teaching staff and mutual development of emotion and reason,enriching the second classroom education,enhancing interactive emotional education,and attaching importance to family education.The innovative education methods include people-oriented method,step by step method and the method of integrating theory with practice.
