In geography teaching,paying attention to the development of students' personality is one of the purposes of teaching.It's a fundamental requirement that teaching must set out from students need,while in line with the "education oriented" fundamental concept.In the geography teaching of senior high school students,we should carry out the teaching idea,pay close attention to the individual needs of students,and find out the optimization scheme of geography teaching for senior high school students.This article selects high school students of three Tibetan middle schools in Gannan Tibetan autonomous region as the research object,in the related literature at home and abroad is summarized,on the basis of defining the connotation of high school geography learning needs,using a variety of methods and comprehensive study,such as literature reading,questionnaire method,interview method,etc.Through questionnaires,interviews with teachers and students,classroom observation,network platform and other ways to understand the current situation and problems of Tibetan high school students' Geography learning.Three Tibetan schools of Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture of a questionnaire survey was conducted among 282 students,and has carried on the interview to seven Tibetan geography teachers.The study found that Tibetan high school students have the strongest need motivation on the level of " learning in order to practice",but "the pursuit of glory" such as in the exam level need motivation is weak;the way of learning geography is diversity,when applied to the new curriculum advocates the way of learning geography has not meet the needs of learning geography of geographical knowledge;stay focused on live learning,learning the geography hierarchy of needs,and the lower level of geography learning needs have not been met;geography learning hard environment needs to be further improved,the soft environment is relatively good,can basically meet the students' needs of learning geography;geography learning materials are not met,the Tibetan geography learning materials extremely the lack of need;need for geography teachers teaching strategy also are not met,there is a certain gap between expectations and reality;To geographical discipline like degree grade differences and schooldifferences is obvious,and gender difference is not significant.Based on the above findings,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to meet the needs of Tibetan high school students' geography learning from six aspects.The main countermeasures: geography teachers should introduce new teaching ideas into actual teaching behavior;to study geographical knowledge teaching needs to be optimized;cultivate and optimize students' geographical learning styles;build a good learning environment for students to meet the geography,geography learning environment need to complement each other;development and geographical features of Gannan Tibetan middle school geography curriculum resources;according to the students' learning geography need to optimize teaching strategies.
