According to different students' needs of development,there are two modules compulsory and optional modules,in New Senior Chemistry for China Student's Book.The compulsory module focuses on the cultivation of the students' basic quality of chemistry,while the optional module emphasizes the development of students' expertise.Although there are some repeated contents in two modules,the difficulty level varies between the same content in two modules because of different functions.Therefore,It takes great difficulties for teachers' teaching and students' learning.However,the intersection of the knowledge in compulsory and optional textbooks provides the necessary conditions for transfer.Therefore,the study tried to apply Migration Strategy in the linkage of teaching optional 4 and compulsory 2 to promote teachers' class teaching efficiency,to decrease the difficulty for students and to accumulate experience for the author's later teaching,and to provide a case for other teachers to use for reference.This study is consist of four parts:(1)the author reviews the relevant literature and understands the current situation of combination abroad and at home,and besides,defines some relevant items,such as combination,teaching materials,chemical reactions and energy variation;(2)the author studies the curriculum and teaching materials,take “chemical reaction and energy variation” as an example,the author compares and analyzes the requirements in curriculum,functional orientation,compilation of teaching materials,depth and width of contents,and then,sorts out the joint-point;(3)in order to put forward combination strategies,the author combined joint-point and transfer theory and interviewed frontline teachers,discussed the current situation and existing problems of the combination in “chemical reaction and energy variation” in compulsory module 2 and optional module 4;(4)the author designed teaching cases and took students of grade two in Zhouqu X middle school,Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.Class3 and class4 are experimental classes.The author conducted teaching practice in these classes,analysized and evaluate teaching effect byobservation method,interviewing teachers and students,score analysis etc.A-semester practice proved that:(1)The transfer strategy was thought highly both by teachers and students;(2)Students' learning habits has improved and their initiative of preparation before class,and class participation enthusiasm,as well as after-school summary and review timeliness have promoted significantly;(3)Compared with average record of the grade,student's academic record improved significantly.The results above indicated that in the linkage of teaching elective 4 and compulsory 2,the application of transfer strategy could:(1)strengthen the relationship between compulsory and optional module,and be helpful for the combination of compulsory and optional teaching;(2)decrease students' learning difficulty;(3)improve students' learning initiative and enthusiasm.
