In recent years,with the implementation of the policy of enrollment expansion in higher education,the number of university graduates has grown rapidly.In the new employment situation,the core issue is to improve the employment ability of college students and make their own quality and employability more in line with the needs of the entire market.Psychological capital is a concept that comes along with the development of positive psychology.The existing research has found that psychological capital has a positive impact on the employment results of college students,but the mechanism of this effect is still lack of systematic research.This paper takes resource theory as the core theoretical model,starting from the individual level of college students(has same degree or above)who are about to enter the workplace,analyzes the impact of their own psychological capital and employability on their employment results,and the corresponding relationship among the three.Specifically,this study constructed a model of the impact mechanism of psychological capital to employment outcomes.Through the analysis of 224 valid questionnaires,the following conclusions are:(1)Psychological capital has a positive effect on employment performance(2)Psychological capital has a positive effect on employment ability;(3)Employment ability has a positive influence on employment performance.(4)Employment ability plays a partial intermediary role in psychological capital and employment performance.(5)The three dimensions of employment ability(self-development ability,interpersonal communication ability,employment self-confidence)play a partial intermediary role on the psychological capital and employment performance.
