Research On Social Work Organizations' Intervention In The Community Endowment Service From The Perspective Of Humanism

In the face of China's increasingly serious social endowment problems,community endowment is being paid more attention to by the society because of its dual advantages of family care and institutional care.It's becoming the key development direction of China's future endowment.At this stage,China's community endowment service is still in its infancy and we still need to explore and improve the community endowment service system suited to China's conditions.In recent years,Chinese government vigorously develops social work,and encourages social work organizations to actively participate in the community endowment service.As one of the professional community care service subject,social work organizations in theory can provide more professional and diversified endowment services for the elderly in the community.They will play an increasingly important role in the community service for the aged.However,at present the community endowment service provided by Chinese social work organizations is still in the exploratory stage,and the majority of social work organizations don't know much about social work professional values and ideas.Most services provided are not enough based on the elderly's need and the humanistic concern for the elderly is not enough,leading to the low enthusiasm of older people to participate in community service,and the low satisfaction for the community endowment service.From the perspective of humanism,this study chooses Q Social Work Organization in Guangzhou which the author has been working there for 3 years as the research object,in order to explore a new more effective way for social organizations to intervene in the community care service in combination with theory and practice,and to enhance the service capacity of social work organizations.In this study,the author uses case study method,participatory observation method and individual interview method to make a comprehensive display,comparison and analysis of the situation of the community care service provided by Q Social Work Organization in two different periods.Base on this,the author sums up a new basic mode for social work organizations to intervene in the community care service,and further explores its application on the basis of case study to verify the feasibility and the existing problems of the service mode.Through this research,the author believes that humanism theory is necessary and feasible for social work organizations to intervene in the community care service.Social work organizations can participate in community endowment service through both direct and indirect modes.The direct service refers to the way of project management.According to the different needs of the elderly,diversified endowment services are provided in classification to meet the various demand of the aged.Also,there are three kinds of indirect service methods,which include improving the external environment of community care services through social work supervision,community education and social work research.At the same time,the author also reflects on the challenge of social workers to use the humanism theory to intervene in the community care service and put forward some related suggestions.
