The Wav To Become A Champion:Research On The Growth Experience Of National Vocational Students Skills Competition's Medalist

Since the development of vocational education,more and more attention has been paid to skills competitions,especially the National Vocational Students Skills Competition,but less or even no systematic study to the medalists,the important part of skills competition and the fruits of vocational education and training,which can be a good source for understanding the circumstance of talents' training.This paper,by applying the method of qualitative study,describes the growth experience of medalists in three aspects(accepting vocational education,participating in competitions,and planning the future),depicts their ideas along the development,and tries to find out the possible factors that influence their decisions and similarities among their growth experience,so as to give some enlightenments for raising skilled talents.This paper finds that the medalists are competitive persons,who grope their way to success with interest,perseverance,their needs to be respected,and their conviction of winning skills competition and belief for a better future,as well as the support from family and school(training objective and place,teachers and schoolmates).On this basis,the author puts forward suggestions in the following aspects:give priority to students' motives when selecting competitors,apply mental training during daily learning,and make students participating in different kinds of competitions(held up in unfamiliar places with strict judges and unfamiliar equipments)to develop their abilities as a whole.
