As an aging society is coming,the elderly population rising sharply.The incidence of alzheimer's disease is increasing considerably.Some developed countries or regions have long attention and emphasis on alzheimer's disease.Community support services of alzheimer's disease has carried out by the late 1990 s in HongKong.Nowadays,more and more studies begin to pay close attention to alzheimer's disease.Such as alzheimer's disease treatment,caregiver stress performance,the model of long-term care,etc.The purpose of this paper is explore its operation mechanism and service effect through non-drug treatments like social work.Social work as a kind of non drug intervention for alzheimer is worth exploring.We discovered that needs and services can't match through we has done the investigation about Alzheimer's disease in X community.Social work service is very necessary for Alzheimer's disease.The report was based on an analysis of the comparison with the experimental group and contrast group.In the experimental group,we has provided social work service for a year,while the contrast group,we do some observation records.We hope to discover how social work effect alzheimer's disease.We has some idears through the study.1,The social work intervention has positive effects on Alzheimer.2,There are various roles of social workers when they provice services for alzheimers.Such as resource providers,service providers,emotional supporters,mediators.3,The help from the government,society and families is very important for alzheimer's disease,not just social workers.4,"Dementia old man,Families,Communities Service Mode”was worth exploring in our services.But we may want to consider some of the study's weaknesses such uncontrolled factors,weak effectiveness.
