Spiritual And Intellectual Disability Employment Perspective Of Social Work Intervention

The law on the protection of persons with disabilities in People's Republic of China stipulates that"persons with disabilities include visual disabilities,hearing disabilities,speech disabilities,physical disabilities,intellectual disabilities,mental disabilities,multiple disabilities and other disabilities." Different types of persons with disabilities whose characteristics of disability are distinctly different.IQ of mental handicapped was lower than normal,cognitive ability and physical coordination were poor.And mental disabled people have abnormal behavior,mental instability.According to the 2012 survey of the basic situation of the disabled people,intellectual disabilities accounted for about 9.65%of the total number of disabled persons,mental disabilities accounted for the total number of disabled persons by about 1.84%.Although there are disabled employment security policy and measures,such as government arrangement of centralized employment for the disabled,according to the proportion of the disabled employment system,implement the policy of tax reduction or exemption in relation to welfare enterprises,but the effect is limited,the need for a new mode to supplement inadequate service policy.At present,the introduction of professional social work services for the disabled is a trend,for mental,mental disability of two categories of rehabilitation employment centers have emerged.Disabled people have always been the focus of professional social work.Relative to the body,vision and hearing and other thinking relative to "normal" disabled,mental and intellectual disabilities in social aspects,greater difficulties,but also the value and significance of more research.Through the analysis,the author obtains the following characteristics of the employment of intellectual and mental disabled people:low employment level,low income,low employment rate.Reviewing the domestic and foreign employment security measures for the two categories of disabled people and their research status.Specific analysis led to the current two types of people with disabilities employment status is not ideal for internal and external reasons,and further elaborated the use of social workers perspective of intervention in these two categories of employment significance.Specific methods of operation to 30 disabled students in Dongguan City,S rehabilitation of the disabled employment center as the study group,before and after the test,interview method,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method of combining research methods,combined with social regression theory and empowerment theory and social support network theory,summarizes the social rehabilitation of the disabled employment center in Dongguan city S the intervention of intelligence or mental disability employment service experience and the existing problems,combined with the actual situation of comprehensive analysis,finally improve the social worker formed two kinds of disabled persons in the service mode.The rehabilitation of the disabled employment center in the center as the basis,consisting of social workers,rehabilitation division,occupation training instructor,assistant social work professional team,as the center of the students(mild to moderate mental or psychiatric disability)case management,group work,community work,drug supervision,rehabilitation and occupation guidance and counseling,sheltered employment occupational and recreational therapy and other services.The professional level of the disabled rehabilitation employment center in the town of S,mentioned in this paper,is in the leading position of many disabled rehabilitation employment centers in Dongguan,and its social service experience has certain significance in the research of.
