There are a lot of basic mathematical methods for high school mathematics learning,but the mathematical method that are often used include the thinking method of function and equation,the thinking method of classification discussion,and the thinking method of transforming classifying and classifying and so on,which are of great help to middle school students' study and have a unique significance for students to learn mathematics well and be able to use their solutions skillfully.Thus,in order to better teach and learn better,the teach can mix these mathematical methods in teaching of the new math class or in the explanation of the exercises and students should pay more attention to the accumulation of the exercises and refinement of method in mathematics learning.Because in mathematics research,number and shape are the two cornerstones of research objects and as chance would have it the way to combine numbers and shapes is the transformation or connection between numbers or symbols and graphics,the method of combination of numbers and shapes can connect the two cornerstones.Therefore,the method of combination of numbers and shapes is of significance.This paper mainly discusses the thinking methods of combination of number and shapes,because for one thing,it is very significant.As mentioned earlier,it can connect the two cornerstones first.Second,it helps to learn knowledge quickly and efficiently.For another thing,it almost runs though mathematics in high school and occupies a pivotal position in the process of teaching and learning mathematics in high school.Therefore,it is necessary to study the combination of numbers and shapes in the teaching of mathematics in high school.In this paper,the research background,theoretical basis and purpose of the combination of numbers are introduced in the first chapter;in the second chapter,this paper studies the basic content of the combination of number and shape;in the third chapter,according to the analysis of the current teaching situation in practice teaching,we sum up the role of combination of numbers and figures in high school teaching and put forward strategies to cultivate students' ability to combining numbers with shapes;in the fourth chapter,it enumerates several applications of combination of number and shape which are commonquestion types in high school mathematics.The innovation of this paper is that when study the application of the combination of numbers some types of questions,we compare the algebraic method with the method of combination of numbers and shapes,and give a summary.
