Now the overall strength of China has risen steadily,and its international status is constantly improving.The connection with the world is also becoming closer.The image of a responsible great power is increasingly prominent.China has entered a new era.The formation of the national mentality of a country's great power is a very complicated process,it includes many components such as a long history of Chinese culture,the level of economic and cultural development,and the overall quality of the people.If China wants to become a truly great country,it should have a confident,rational,tolerant and peaceful attitude to contact with other countries.This is also an important part of a country's soft power.It's necessary and indispensable to cultivate the patience,innovation,self-confidence,responsibility and tolerance for the future development of China.It connects with the people's mentality,whether people can face challenges and seize opportunities.The national mentality of undergraduates is the attitude and behavior towards their own country and the world.College students have outstanding cultural quality,high levels of ideological and moral quality and also have the spirit of innovation.They are the laborers of the social development of China in the future and the successors of the socialist cause,shouldering the hope of the motherland and the future of the nation.Moreover,college students have extremely high plasticity,they are easily disturbed by the outside world.In the high-speed growth of life,their outlook on life,world view,and values have not been finalized.Therefore,it is of practical importance to cultivate the mentality of college students in China.
