Objective: This study was to evaluate the influence of the new baduanjin exercise on the muscle strength,muscular circumference,body composition,blood lipid,CK and bun of middle-aged and old people,and to assess the effect of the new baduanjin exercises on the fitness of middle-aged and elderly adults,In order to elucidate the mechanism of the fitness exercise to promote the physical health of the elderly to provide experimental basis.Research methods: Mainly through the "health and Physical Activity status registration form" Screening out the People’s University of China’s community did not insist on long-term physical exercise habit of 14 ordinary middle-aged and elderly subjects,mainly using experimental methods,the experimental group in accordance with fitness qigong requirements 5 times a week,1 hours each time,16-week new baduanjin movement intervention.In the control group,the subjects maintained their original living habits under the condition of their physical exercise.Before and after the experiment,the two groups of subjects tested their muscle strength,muscular circumference,body composition,blood lipid,CK and bun,and compared the test results to understand the effect of the new baduanjin Exercise on fitness.Research results and discussions:1.After 16 weeks of new baduanjin,the grip strength and back force of the test subjects were significantly improved(P <0.05),indicating that the Qigong method has a positive effect on human muscle.Compared with the control group,it was found that the strength of the lumbar and back force of the practice group was significantly better than that of the control group after four months of training(P <0.05).2.After 16 weeks of new baduanjin,the experimental group had a certain degree of upper arm circumference and thigh circumference,but no statistical significance(p>0.05).Compared to the control group appeared in the left thigh circumference reduction,the new baduanjin practice in alleviating muscle atrophy or have some effect.3.After 16 weeks of new baduanjin,the subjects in the experimental group had a significant difference in fat weight,body fat rate and visceral fat content,which was different from which before this special exercise(p<0.05),which indicated that the new baduanjin had an important effect on reducing fat and improving body quality.4.After 16 weeks of new baduanjin practice,the total cholesterol content of subjects in the experimental group decreased slightly before practice,but there was no statistically significant(p>0.05),triglyceride content and LDL cholesterol concentration were significantly lower than before practice(p<0.05),and the concentration of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol increased significantly before practice(P <0.05).It shows that the new baduanjin exercise has a good moderating effect on blood lipids.Conclusion:1.The new baduanjin 16-week exercise has a significant effect on improving the aging muscle strength and aging skeletal muscle atrophy.2.the new baduanjin 16-week exercise is beneficial to the elderly to improve body composition,reduce the proportion of fat.3.the new baduanjin 16-week exercise is beneficial to the elderly to improve blood lipid status,reduce the level of protein decomposition.
