In 2016,the China National Development Report 2015 released by Peking University clearly stated that China's current income and property inequality is becoming increasingly serious and has been higher than the international security line 0.4 for many years. The problem of "not suffering from oligopoly and unfair income" is an urgent problem to be solved in our country. The earliest systematic research on the theory of international trade and wage gap was the theory of H-O proposed by Hechscher and Ohlin. On this basis,Stolper and Samuelson proposed the S-S theorem. On the basis of previous research and combining with the current situation of China's economic development, this paper sorts out the four major ways in which foreign trade affects the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers in China: commodity prices, technological progress, human capital accumulation, and economic growth. At the same time, through the descriptive statistical analysis of China's foreign trade and the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers,we have a deep understanding of the evolutionary characteristics of the two: from the reform and opening up in 1978,China's foreign trade development has been rapid, but regional development has been extremely low balance, the level of foreign trade in the east is significantly higher than in the central and western regions;the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers has also experienced a process of shrinking first, then expanding and then shrinking.Although it has declined in recent years,it is still at a high level;and further differentiates into three regions.By comparison, the gap in the eastern region is the largest, followed by the middle and the smallest in the west. Its remarkable regional characteristics indicate that it is necessary to examine the influence of foreign trade on the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers in different regions. The empirical part of this paper first analyzes the impact of foreign trade on the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers in 31 provinces in China based on the provincial panel data for the period from 2000 to 2015 in China, and further differentiates 31 provinces according to regional development.Divided into the eastern, central and western regions, the impact of foreign trade on the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers was analyzed.Research shows that: First, from a national perspective, foreign trade has significantly increased the relative demand for skilled labor and wage income, thereby expanding the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers.Second, from the regional perspective,China's foreign trade has increased.Big differences in the income of skilled and unskilled workers. However, regional differences will cause foreign trade to have a different effect on the wage gap.The correlation coefficient in the central region of 5.564718 is much larger than the correlation coefficient of 0.276175 in the eastern region and the correlation coefficient of 1.518684 in the western region. Then we select China's time series data for the period from 1991 to 2015 to empirically analyze the impact mechanism of China's foreign trade on the wage gap between skilled and unskilled workers. The results show that China's foreign trade is mastered through government fiscal expenditure and actual average GDP.The wage gap with unskilled workers played an improvement role, and the gap between the wages of skilled and unskilled workers in China was further widened through the industrial structure and the contribution of total assets.
