Research On Employment Effect Of BRICS Embedding GVC

During the process of embedding in the GVC,the involved countries can not only make huge improvement economically in their own countries,but also benefit from other countries value added export,in order to develop economy of their own countries.And this process can also be considered when dealing with a regional group trying to embed in the global value chain.The benefit from the above process can provide critical services of the transformation and upgrade of industry and employment growth within the countries.Since the “BRICS” has been put forward,it has drawn great attention because of its new pattern at first,however,how this new group of emerging markets can embed in the development of world economy and GVC is the main reason why “BRICS” has caught much attention.In the meantime,can the benefit of joining world economy development be widely used in improving employment growth inside the countries is another reason.Based on this,the perspective of this article has been locked in the employment effect of BRICS embedding in GVC.The latest method of value added calculation has been used in this article------WWZ method.Based on the data set of BRICS calculated by this method,this article has described the situation of BRICS embedding in GVC.What's more,after adding employment vector in this analysis system,this article has the ability to analyze the situation and the pattern of BRICS' employment growth and effect when embedding in GVC.Finally,HSDA method has been used to find out the influencing factors of the employment effect in BRICS.The arrangement of this article is as follows: first,by thoroughly understanding the related studies of embedding in GVC and the relationship between international trade and employment growth,this article has locked its research perspective in employment effect of BRICS embedding in GVC.Chapter one simply organize the calculation methods of value added export and some theory of the relationship between international trade and employment growth.In chapter two,the theoretical derivations of WWZ and HSDA method are put forward.Chapter three concentrates on the status quo of BRICS embedding in GVC based on the perspective of overall and vertical specialization.In the meantime,this chapter analyzes the employment effect of BRICS embedding in GVC based on three different trade paths and eight different factor-intensive industries and labor factor's skill heterogeneity.Chapter four concentrates on analyze the influencing factors of employment effect based on HSDA method.Conclusions and recommendations are in chapter five.
