It is reported that mankind faces many common challenges as it develops.Global problem need to seek cooperation across differences between countries,and this kind of cooperation is built on the basis of international understanding.High school student's body and mind development tends to be stable and mature,and high school politics is a course that helps students develop the right philosophy,values,and worldview.The cultivation of students' international understanding in high school politics is in accordance with the high school political curriculum standards and the cultivation of the key competence of Chinese students' development.In recent years,international understanding has also been a hot spot for academic research.But it's more of a theoretical study of the macro,and there are very few systems that involve international understanding in the textbook.Therefore,the innovation of this paper lies in the systematic analysis of the teaching materials,the combination of qualitative and quantitative teaching methods,and put forward the training countermeasures on the basis of understanding the current situation of international understanding of high school students.Firstly,this paper makes a theoretical analysis of international understanding literacy,explains the relevant connotation of international understanding literacy and the theoretical basis and significance of cultivation.And then,combining with the connotation of international understanding literacy,we systematically integrate and analyze the textbooks,and find the matching point between high school political teaching materials and international understanding.On the basis of this analysis,the article analyzes the data.From the viewpoints of education influence,teachers and students.The survey results show that the global level of international understanding literacy for high school students in the surveyed area is moderate,of which the highest are global awarness and open mind;there are some problems in the teaching of international understanding.The content of the materials involved in theinternational understanding literacy lack systemic.Most teachers use more traditional methods with few extracurricular practices;Teachers themselves do not have enough knowledge of international understanding;The overall situation of students' international understanding is not optimistic,and the cultivation of international understanding is not taken seriously by most students;In view of the above results,based on the above survey results and the analysis of theoretical basis,combined with the discipline characteristics of high school political class,this study proposes countermeasures from five aspects: improving teaching content,changing teaching methods,carrying out integrative practical activities,strengthening the construction of teachers' team,and reinforcing the concept of character of the students.
