Medical social work is a kind of professional activity that uses professional knowledge and methods in medical institutions to provide people with needs with medical social issues. It is an activity that enables both doctors and medical personnel to win together.China has already entered the ageing stage. The whole society pays more attention to the elderly, but few studies have focused on elderly patients' family caregivers. Most of these family caregivers are patients' partners, children,or other family members.Elderly patients with chronic diseases generally have features such as severe illness and long duration, and long-term treatment makes patients suffer long-term afflictions, inner feelings of irritability and distress, and often lose their temper to their caregivers' families.Caregivers have greater financial burdens, physiological loads,or psychological pressures, and the ethics advocated by traditional filial piety cultures have made it difficult for the caregiver to dare not to shed these pressures on others. For family caregivers, the pressure to select cases or group work methods to provide financial assistance or psychological counseling to the clients can not only improve the patient's and their family's medical satisfaction, but also improve their family relationships to some extent. It is conducive to social harmony. The first chapter of the study is mainly the reasons for the topic, the significance of the study, and the literature review. The second chapter is the definition of concepts related to the research object and the theory of practice integration in the study. The third chapter records the use of the case by researchers. The intervention method of work provides services to the patient Liu Axie who is the patient of the hospital and Ms.Li,the daughter of the caregiver,to help improve the relationship between mother and daughter, relieve the whole process of mental stress caused by the caregiver Ms.Li during the nursing and the experience gained. The fourth chapter is an exploratory study of stress relief and the problems existing in the process. The fifth chapter is the existing problems and prospects. The researchers hope that this study will supplement the practice of medical social work.
