Social Work Intervention Study On Stress Relief Of Family Caregivers

Our country has entered an aging society.Under the condition that the society is not rich before the old,the problem of providing for the aged is particularly prominent.In the elderly group,the disabled and mentally retarded elderly are a more special group,they can not live alone,need special accompanied care.Institutions that are willing to recruit mentally retarded elderly are few and expensive,and professional nurses are not a affordable to the general family.So at present,the main caregivers of the disabled people in China are their families.With the increasing number of disabled and mentally retarded patients,more and more people join the ranks of family caregivers.Like any one of us,they have flesh and blood and thoughts,and they also hope to have their own lives.The identity of caregivers derives from patients.They bear the responsibility and pressure to take care of patients.Therefore,alleviating the pressure of family caregivers becomes the first problem to be solved in the process of family care for disabled elders.According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,when people's needs are not met,they will have pressure,so their needs should also be taken seriously.Only when their needs are met and the pressure is alleviated,can we take better care of the disabled elderly.The first part of this paper is an introduction.The author first introduces the background and significance of this study,and then introduces the research methods used in this paper.This paper belongs to qualitative research in methodology.Through literature research,participatory observation and interviews,the author explores the problems of family caregivers.It also describes the domestic and foreign research results on the disabled elderly and their caregivers.The second part takes D community as an example.Through the introduction of D community,it describes the general situation of D community,the human geographical environment and the resources in the community.The third part is a comprehensive list of the sources and needs of farrmily caregivers on the basis of interviews.The fourth part is the practice and strategy of social work intervention in family caregivers'stress relief,aiming at family caregivers' problems,through three working methods:case,group and community.And make a summary and evaluation.The fifth part is the analysis of the problems existing in the process of social work intervention.At present,it seems that the main problems of social worik intervention are the low participation of family caregivers in the community,the high mobility of staff,the mismatch between the shortage of professionals and the supply of resources,the single financing channel of the underutilized pension industry,and the limited help provided by the government.The sixth part is the suggestions for the problems of meeting the needs of family caregivers in social work.It also puts forward pertinent suggestions for deepening the publicity of social work,,strengthening the construction of social work professionals,and constructing multiple financing channels.Based on interviews with family caregivers of disabled elders in D community,this paper finds that the pressure of family caregivers mainly comes from economic,psychological and social aspects.The author explores their needs from the perspective of social workers,and intervernes in cases according to their needs,proving the role of social work intervention in disabled family caregivers.At the same time,social workers are also found.Deficiencies and deficiencies in the process of intervention.Afiter in-depth analysis,the author puts forward some suggestions from the perspective of government,society and community,hoping to contribute a weak force to family caregivers,so that the elderly can get better family care,and also leave research materials for social work intervention related issues.
