Kindergarten Educational Guidelines points out that playing games is the basic activity of children".Children never get tired of games.Through direct perception,practical operation and hands-on experience,they can acquire experience and promote the development on personal capacity.In the world of children's plays,there is a shortcut,that is,constructive play.Constructive play is a language in which children express their perception and emotion by shaping.It is an activity that is filled with creative imagination to simulate,reproduce and shape by children's hands-on operation.Combined with the famous American educational psychologist Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences theory,constructive play is extremely effective at children's language intelligence,mathematical logic intelligence,spatial intelligence,body movement intelligence,artistic intelligence,interpersonal intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence.Therefore,constructive play takes up a very important position in the education activities in kindergartens.At present,with the promulgation and implementation of the Guideline on learning and development for children aged3-6 playing games is regarded as a way of carrying out the spirit of the guideline nationwide.In addition,constructive play has got a more prominent position in promoting young children‘s development.However,there are still some difficulties and resistance in the process of implementing games in rural kindergartens because of geographical,economic and conceptual factors.This article focuses on the present situation,problems and their causes in carrying out constructive play in rural kindergartens,as well as measures on how to promote it in rural kindergartens.This study is devoted to the present situation and the strategy in carrying out constructive play in rural kindergartens.The methods of observation,questionnaire,interview and case analysis are adopted.The rural kindergartens in Yibin city were taken as examples in this study,as so to find out the necessity of research on carrying out constructive plays in rural kindergartens,and to investigate the present situation,common problems and causes on carrying out constructive plays in rural kindergartens,which are listed as follows: Firstly,there are many newly recruited and transferred teachers,the class sizes are large and the ratios between teachers and students are too big.Secondly,the tendency to educate kindergarten children in the form of primary schools is serious.Thirdly,kindergarten-based teaching research is inefficient.Fourthly;there are many problems in teachers' directions on children's constructive plays.The reasons of these problems are: firstly,high-quality public preschool education resources are scarce in rural areas;Secondly,parents are too eager for a kind of early childhood education in the form of primary schools.Thirdly,there is a lack of practical effect in kindergarten-based teaching research.Fourthly,the overall quality of teachers working in rural kindergartens is not high.Based on the investigation,research and reflection of the topic,six suggestions for the implementation of constructive plays in rural kindergartens are put forward.Firstly,the local government should enforce main body responsibility and promote rural kindergartens' development.Secondly,transform parents' educational concepts.Thirdly,construct characteristic kindergarten-based teaching research activities in the light of the actual situation.Fourthly,strengthen the construction of the teaching team and improve teachers' professional quality.Fifthly,guarantee that children have enough time and space to play;sixthly,show children's works and evaluate their achievement in multiple ways.This study aims to enrich the supportive strategy research of constructive plays in rural kindergartens.The research is not only limited to the methods of teacher's guidance,but also contains policy support,regulation establishment,guarantee in kindergartens and the instruction of teachers.It supports rural kindergartens to conduct constructive plays from different perspective,enhance the quality of constructive plays and promote the overall development of young children in various aspects.
