With the development of society,people's pressure is increasing.College students are the masters of the new era in our country.In the face of fierce competition,the pressure on them is increasing day by day.In today's society,whether college students have a bright future depends to a great extent on whether they have a healthy and positive mental state.Therefore,the mental health of college students should be paid more attention.The emphasis of developing college students' mental health lies in improving college students' self-esteem consciousness,and the key of college students' self-esteem education lies in the development of college students' body self-esteem education.However,in recent years,the degree of concern of college students' physical self-esteem has been low..Therefore,in order to effectively improve the mental health of college students,it is urgent to develop college students' physical self-esteem education.This study adopts the methods of literature,investigation,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis and logic analysis,etc.Through the self-made questionnaire,the college students' body self-esteem scale(PSPP)is applied to Northwest normal University.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 300 college students from Northwest Minzu University and Lanzhou City College,and then random interviews were conducted.The data will be processed and analyzed with spss22.0 to understand the overall level of college students' physical self-esteem;physical education major and non-sports universities The difference of students' physical self-esteem level,the interaction between major and gender,nationality,grade,family economic condition,that is,different gender and nationality in physical education major and non-sports major,Different grades and different family economic conditions of college students' physical self-esteem performance difference.The main findings are as follows:(1)At present,the overall level of physical self-esteem of college students is low and the degree of dispersion is larger.In the five dimensions of physicalself-esteem,the highest level is the physical quality dimension,the lowest level is the motor skills dimension,in which the sports skills dimension is the largest,and the self-worth dimension is the least.Overall,the overall level of college students' physical self-esteem needs to be improved,especially in sports skills.(2)There is a significant difference in the level of physical self-esteem between college students majoring in physical education and non-sports majors,and the level of physical self-esteem of college students majoring in physical education is higher than that of students majoring in non-sports.There were significant differences in each dimension,and the former was higher than the latter.Research shows that long-term physical exercise can improve college students' physical self-esteem.(3)The level of body self-esteem of boys is higher than that of girls in physical education major,and the level of body self-esteem of boys is also higher than that of girls in non-sports majors.There was no significant difference in the level of physical self-esteem between different sexes of physical education major and non-physical education major,and there was no interaction between the overall level of physical self-esteem and each sub dimension.The research shows that female college students' physical self-esteem level is generally lower than that of male college students,and female college students' physical self-esteem level needs to be strengthened.(4)The physical self-esteem level of the Han students majoring in physical education is higher than that of the Hui students,and the physical self-esteem level of the Han nationality students of non-sports major is basically the same as that of the Hui students.There were significant differences in the level of body self-esteem between college students majoring in physical education and non-sports majors,and there was interaction between them.There is a certain gap in physical self-esteem between Hui and Han students majoring in physical education,so we should pay attention to it.(5)Physical self-esteem of physical education majors decreased from freshman to sophomore,and the level of physical self-esteem of non-PE majors was almost equal to that of sophomore.There were significant differences in the level of bodyself-esteem between students majoring in physical education and non-physical education majors,and there was interaction between them.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of physical self-esteem of the junior students majoring in physical education,and the non-physical education students should actively strengthen their physical self-esteem education from the beginning of entering the school.(6)In physical education major,the highest level of physical self-esteem is the average family economic conditions of college students,followed by the poor family economic conditions of college students,and finally the better family economic conditions of college students.In non-sports major,the highest level of physical self-esteem is the better family economic conditions,followed by the poor family economic conditions of college students,and finally the average family economy of college students.There was no significant difference in the overall level of physical self-esteem between the college students with different family economic conditions and the students majoring in physical education and non-sports major,and there was no interaction between the two groups in the overall level of physical self-esteem.Current research shows that family economic conditions It has little effect on the level of physical self-esteem of college students,and has no definite direction.
