The family is the first place for primary school students to live,and their parents are the first teachers of their children.The parenting style of their parents has an important impact on the development of their children throughout their lives.In the past 20 years,researchers have explored the influence of parental rearing style on primary school students' self-confidence from the perspective of family education,while integrating the influence of parental parenting style on children's attachment level.This study explores the relationship between parent-child attachment and primary school students' self-confidence,so as to better understand the relationship between parental rearing style,parent-child attachment and primary school students' self-confidence.Adoption,Parenting style questionnaire","Attachment safety scale","Chinese pupils'self-confidence scale" A survey of 650 students in three primary schools in Sichuan Province was carried out and the data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 and AMOS22.0.The results show that:(l)The parents of primary school students use more trust,encouragement and warm emotional rearing pattern,less autocratic,doting,neglect and other types of upbringing.The father attachment is in the medium level,the mother attachment level is higher.The overall level of self-confidence is high.(2)There are some differences in gender,grade and source of students in primary school students' parental rearing pattern,parent-child attachrment and self-confidence.(3)There is a significant correlation among parental rearing pattern,parent-child attachment and self-confidence of primary school students.Parental rearing pattern and parent-child attachment have significant predictive effects on self-confidence.The intermediary effect test shows that mother is attached to(Except for the doting type)family rearing pattern plays a complete intermediary role in the role of self-confidence.(4)Five kinds of family rearing patterns cain significantly predict the level of self-confidence of primary school students.All of the five family upbringing patterns of primary school students can predict the level of self-confidence significantly.Test of intermediary effect shows that father attachment in Parental rearing pattern(Except for the doting type)and self-confidence plays a part of the intermediary role.Research conclusion:the parental rearing pattern can directly affect the self-confidence of senior students in primary schools.And through parent-child attachment,which can indirectly affect the self-confidence of the students of senior primary school,that is to say,the parent-son attachment plays an intermediary role between parental rearing patern and self-confidence.The attachment of mother and son plays a complete intermediary role between autocratic type,trust and encouragement type,emotional warmth type,neglect type and primary school students'self-confidence.
