Under the background of new concept teaching and new curriculum standard,how to use the effective teaching method to cultivate the discipline core quality of students is the focus of teachers' attention.The flipped classroom and Problem-Based Learning(PBL)are known as active learning strategies.Compared with the traditional courses,the flipped classroom can transfer learning initiative to students themselves,achieve self control and autonomous learning,and promote low-level learning outside the classroom and high-level learning in class.On the other hand,by building a real problem situation,and guiding students in exploratory learning,PBL is also effective in stimulating interest and promoting autonomous learning.Thus,according to the modern education concept,and using the advantages of flipped classroom and PBL with the characteristics of high school chemistry teaching,this article take the chemical inorganic element unit as an example,the current situation and the existing problems of chemistry teaching in Y high school is mastered through investigation and research.Combined with the teaching objectives and students' analysis of this unit,follow the teaching principle of teachers dominated and students as the main body,discuss the application and basic elements of this new teaching method.A case of high school chemistry teaching based on PBL in flipped classroom was designed and practiced.Then SPSS and other methods are used to analyze its application effect.The results show that the use of "a teaching method based on PBL in flipped classroom" can expand classroom time and space.It enables students to realize independent learning,actively accept knowledge,experience the complete process of knowledge formation,realize inquiry learning,and experience the process of scientific inquiry and scientific attitude and methods.This will not only help to cultivate the students' discipline core quality of chemistry,improve their ability to solve problems and innovate,but also lay a good foundation for their lifelong learning.In the course of practice,most teachers and students agree to this method.By discussing its application method,it provides useful reference for chemistry teachers to improve teaching quality.
