Research On The Development Status And Countermeasures Of The Karate Clubs In Henan

Karate is a sport with the characteristics of being performative,body-building and competitive.Henan province is one of the earliest provinces to introduce karate project in official form,establishing Karate Sport Team of Henan in 2007.At this time,the karate in Henan has entered the period of development.Karate clubs have been set up gradually under the drive of competitive karate,which are founded in some cities in Henan so far.The Henan karate club has begun to take shape after decades of development.The study of karate in Henan is mainly focused on the study of karate in colleges and universities,and there has been no related researches on karate clubs.Based on this,this paper is entitled “Study on Current Situation and Countermeasures of Henan Karate Clubs",adopting the methods of literature research,investigation,mathematical statistics,logic analysis and others to research the current situation of 14 karate clubs in Henan province which are recorded in sports department of Henan Province(as of June 2017),summarizing its constrains and putting forward pertinent solutions through investigation and analysis of the distribution and scale of Henan karate clubs,the basic situation of trainees and coaches and their participation in the race,the status of club management and the degree of support for karate clubs by relevant departments of Henan.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Current situation:(1)At present,the number of karate clubs in Henan is increasing year by year,but the development is uneven across regions,which are mostly grouped in the central area of Henan Province.There are small number of trainees in karate clubs of Henan.(2)The students of karate clubs in Henan province are mainly primary and middle school students.That is they ignore the publicity for other groups,and the management of the students should be strengthened.(3)The karate club coaches are younger in average age.There are such problems as coaches without qualified posts,low entry threshold,single karate technology,lack of theoretical learning,low income and so on.The number of coaches has increased in recent two years.(4)Apart from 5 clubs which are set up latest,other karate clubs in Henan Province have participated in the competition and all made achievements.At present,the largest 5 clubs in Henan take part in match no less than 3 times a year.(5)The club seriously ignored karate practice,which is slightly different from the promotion system of Chinese Karate Association.The facilities of clubs generally meet the needs of teaching,but there still need to be improved in certain potential safety problems.At the same time,the way of club promotion is limited.(6)Henan Sports Bureau highly supports the development of karate sports in the province,but the relevant management departments need to strengthen the supervision and management of karate clubs market and publicity.2.The restricting factors:(1)The public lacks a correct understanding of the karate sport;(2)The trainees drain of karate is serious;(3)The coach is short and the technology is low;(4)The teaching content is simple;(5)The promotion way is single;(6)The site facilities should to be improved;(7)The management departments lack supervision and support for karate clubs.3.Suggestions for development:(1)enhancing the propaganda of cultural connotations of karate sport;(2)strengthening the management of trainees;(3)constantly optimizing the coach team;(4)emphasizing the diversification of teaching content;(5)Enhance the sense of win-win,a variety of marketing methods and measures;(6)rising service awareness and constantly perfecting the environment construction of the clubs;(7)strengthening supervision and support for karate clubs.
