Tourism is an indispensable component of human leisure activities,wherein college students form a unique economic group.In recent years,the tourism industry has been booming and with it,the economic capacity of college students has improved remarkably.The development of the tourism industry for college students has been rapid,and the tourism relations between China and South Korea have become increasingly close.There are a lot of college students and foreign students in China and South Korea.What are their differences in tourism? If there are differences,what are the influencing factors? College students have become an important component of the tourist market segmentation,and therefore,the prospects for the development of the college students and university students are also worth looking forward to.There are many foreign students in South Korea,most of which are Chinese students.In China,a large proportion of the foreign students are South Korean.College students have become a major tourist target customer group.This paper,by means of a survey,looks into how the Chinese and South Korean college and international students' gender,age,grade,major,living expenses,region,travel destination,travel motives,attitude and preferences impact tourism within that specific economic group,as well as the differences between those four sub-groups-South Koreans studying in South Korea,South Koreans studying in China,Chinese studying in China and Chinese studying in South Korea.The designed survey was completed by South Korean and Chinese college students and international students.An SPSS statistical analysis has been conducted on the data collected through the survey.It is concluded that travel motives,attitudes and preferences have an impact on tourist consumption behavior,and their geographical and living standards also have a profound influence.There are many factors of tourism consumption behavior.Through the research of this paper,one can conclude that the characteristics and differences of the tourism consumption behavior of Korean and Chinese college students are as follows:(1)The difference in level of consumption has an impact on tourism consumption behavior.(2)Differences in the cultural background of the two countries have caused differences in tourism consumption.(3)With different identities,the tourism consumption behavior is different.Finally,the studies have made clear that it has a clear guiding role in tourism marketing,the development of the tourism market and the development of tourism products;It has a significant role in promoting the development of the tourism industry in China and South Korea;and it also has a positive significance in the tourism management of and the cooperation between the tourism industry,tourism enterprises and both the Chinese and South Korean government.
