Research On The Development Mode Of Ski Resorts In China Under The Viey Of Agglomeration Economies

Beijing and Zhangjiakou successfully won the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics,which aroused the attention of the whole society to the ski industry.As the main development subject of the industry,ski resort is an important force to promote the whole industry from a little bull's knife to a broadsword,short period commercialization to operational capitalization,and a one-time ski experience to a ski vacation lifestyle change.Under the view of agglomeration economies,this study takes the development model of ski resorts in China as the research object.This paper probes into the different formation and development paths of the agglomeration economy.Through the research,this paper draws the following conclusions.Firstly,the development mode of ski resort refers to the development path or strategic mode adopted by a certain ski resort in the process of its formation and development under the specific natural resource conditions and social and economic environment.Secondly,our country has formed three kinds of resort development mode.They are synthesis mode,regional industry cluster mode and tourism development zone mode.Thirdly,the driving factors,the structure,the fertures of the agglomeration economy etc.decides the different development mode of the ski resort.Fourthly,the ski resort of synthesis mode has the prominent agglomeration effect in internal production and operation activities,but the externalities of industrial agglomeration have not completely broken through the space limitation of the project itself.The ski resorts in the regional industry cluster mode have a significant driving effect on local economics and urbanization.The external effect of scale ecnmomy is obvious.The uncertainties associated with cluster formation and development is its weakness.The ski resort of tourism development zone mode have the advantage of obvious social benefit.But the biggest drawback which has restricted its development is too much administrative intervention and insufficient market mechanism.Therefore,the following suggestions are put forward: at first,the local governments should attach significance to the ski resorts which will be the important growing factors to promote regional economic development.Then,when someone is prepare to develop a ski resort,the choice of development mode should be taken into consideration.Finally,the ski resorts of tourism development zone mode should be fully introduced the marketing mechanism,and the ski resorts of synthesis mode should gardually advance to characteristic towns.At the same time,the ski resorts of regional industry cluster mode could be promoted by a variety of means in potential areas.
