Constant strength load and Paremid strength load are common strength load methods for strength training,The meaning and the purpose of this study is to compare constant load and pyramid load for the influences of maximum strength of bench press and deadlift.The meaning of this study is to compare two types of different strength loading,get results,we could provide some ideas for the strength training practical application.For this study,we use experimental method,mathematical statistics and document method.There were 16 athletes participated in this study,all these basketball players' sports level are the 1st national level,the average age of these 16 basketball players is 20.4±1.6 years old,they have 4 years experience in strength training at least.These 16 players were divided into two groups,Constant Loading Group(referred to as CLG,n = 8,Xiamen University);Pyramid Loading Group(referred to as PLG,n = 8,Peking University).These two group will do different strength loading for 4 weeks.These two group will do twice max strength test of bench press and deadlift which is before training and 4 weeks after.Both of these two groups will do paired samples T test of the result of bench press and deadlift,and also these two groups will do independent samples T test of their result of bench press and deadlift.Based on the results of this study:(1)the constant load and pyramid load can improve the max strength bench press and max strength deadlift,but by 4 weeks of these two methods of training for 1RM bench press and 1 RM deadlift.So CLG and PLG both have significant growth for the max strength training of bencch press and deadlift strength.(2)According to the date,for the average growth rate of PLG's bench press is 0.75% higer than CLG.(3)According to the date,for the average growth rate of CLG's deadlift is 1.91% higer than PLG.(4)For the same range of loading,the constent loading and Paramid losding cause the same result,both of these methods could improve max strength without any differences.So for the same range of loading,for instents of my study,our loading range is 80%-100%1RM,no matter constent loading or paramid loading cause the same result,they both could improve the max strength.
