The purpose of this study is to study the spatial imagination ability of high school students through a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Space imagination is an important part of mathematics ability and has received a lot of attention.The research summary shows that there are few articles on spatial imagination ability,and the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis is very rare.In addition to the continuous reform of the curriculum,the research findings on spatial imagination ability have long ago disappeared.Responsive to the need of the development of students' spatial imagination ability in the new situation,educators must grasp the current method of cultivating spatial imagination of high school students.Based on the analysis of theory and practice,this paper mainly addresses the following three issues:(1)Current level and status quo of mathematics spatial imagination in senior high school students;(2)Factors that influence the development of students' spatial imagination ability in mathematics from the perspective of teacher teaching;(3)As an educator,teaching strategies should be implemented in order to improve students' mathematical spatial imagination in practical teaching.First of all,the concept,composition,and structure of spatial imagination are analyzed,and defined.Based on the curriculum standard teaching requirements and the content of three-dimensional geometry,the five requirements for spatial imagination ability are determined and used as the basis for the compilation of the test volume.Next,115 students were selected as subjects for testing.After retrieving the test volume,Pasw statistics 18.0 and excel software were used to analyze the validity,reliability,and data of the test volume,and the students' test papers were combined.The status quo of high school students' spatial imagination ability is as follows:(1)The students' mathematical spatial imagination has basically reached the requirements of the new curriculum standards,but there are still a few students who cannot meet the basic requirements;(2)Students have high and low levels of mathematical spatial imagination.,uneven.Next,three representative teachers were selected to conduct interviews.In conjunction with the above-mentioned students' mathematical spatial imagination and teacher interview results,the teaching factors affecting students' mathematical spatial imagination ability were summarized:(1)When teachers speak simple geometry,Good at using physical objects in life for example;(2)When teachers talk about the concept of simple geometry and graphic structure,they neglect the explanation of the essential characteristics of the graph,making the concept of students unclear;(3)Teachers ignore the importance of the three views;(4)Teachers There is less training for students to operate three-dimensional graphics.Students cannot obtain direct experience from hands-on operations.(5)Teachers pay more attention to the use of literal language,symbolic language,and graphic language and their mutual transformation when teaching basic content.(6)In the classroom,teachers rarely train students' drawing skills;(7)Teachers will ask students who do not convert to memorize the formula to make students mistakes;(8)Teachers generally use this part of stereo geometry.Traditional teaching methods rarely use multimedia dynamic display.Finally,from the perspective of teacher teaching,the author proposes the following teaching strategies for teachers in cultivating students' spatial imagination ability:(1)Pay attention to the introduction of knowledge background and stimulate students' interest in learning;(2)Pay attention to basic knowledge teaching,theory and practice Combine the enhancement of students' understanding of basic knowledge;(3)Strengthen the training of drawing and enhance student's drawing consciousness;(4)Pay attention to using teaching aids and multimedia to teach;(5)Encourage students to get hands-on operation to obtain direct experience;(6)Strengthen language transformation and logical thinking ability.Therefore,in today's full implementation of the new curriculum,teachers should learn to master more teaching strategies and implement them in a specific class or in a particular detail,so as to promote the continuous improvement of students' mathematical spatial imagination.
