In the information and media environment,it is developing rapidly about mobile phones,Internet and other new media technologies.People can easily own media products such as mobile phones and computers,and become the disseminator of information,which makes the communication environment more complex and changeable.As the "digital natives",the physical and mental development of primary and middle school students is not mature and their ability to discriminate information is not strong.Facing the numerous and complicated media information,their philosophy of life,values and the world outlook are easily affected,resulting in confusion and confusion in cognition.It is necessary to guide them correctly,so it is urgent to carry out media literacy education in an all-round way.Pedagogical education is an important breakthrough for the rapid development of media literacy education in the future.Therefore,the media literacy level of students in normal universities should be noticed and valued.In order to quantitatively evaluate the media literacy level of normal universities students,this paper established an evaluation index system for media literacy of normal university students on the basis of previous studies,which is combined with the characteristics of teacher education.First of all,this study identified 6 dimensions of evaluation index system of media literacy of normal university students and formulated draft of evaluation index by theoretical analysis.Then the draft of the media literacy index is made into an expert opinion consultation questionnaire,and the content of the index is revised according to the feedback of the experts.Secondly,Sichuan Normal University students were selected as subjects to conduct pre-survey.We use SPSS software to conduct project analysis,reliability and validity test and exploratory factor analysis to filter the questionnaire items,and get the hypothesis structure of evaluation index system.Thirdly,we carried out the second survey selecting the undergraduate and graduate students of Sichuan Normal University as the respondents.Then,a confirmatory factor analysis is conducted to test the evaluation index system of media literacy in normal university based on questionnaire data.We finally get the good suitability evaluation model by modifying the hypothesis model,and determine the weight of the index by the result of factor analysis.Finally,according to College Students' media literacy evaluation index system,we use simple linear weighting method to evaluate the overall level of evaluation of media literacy and the scores of each dimension of Sichuan normal university students.The media literacy level of students with different sex,educational background and professional background was measured and analyzed.
