STEM is short for science,technology,engineering and mathematics.STEM education concept emphasizes integration and interrelation among STEM subjects,and emphasizes the development of competence and practical application,so as to stimulate learners 'learning interest and foster innovation ability in the form of problem solving.For biology,STEM educational concept guides students to recognize biology and learn biology from practice.Based on STEM educational concept,this study integrates STEM educational concept into biology teaching design in high school.The main contents of the study are as follows:First,the research of STEM education at home and abroad and its application in high school biology teaching design are summarized by literature study.Secondly,based on STEM educational concept and high school biology characteristics,the model of high school biology teaching design is proposed.Third,in the high school biology compulsory teaching material to carry on the teaching implementation,from the learning achievement,the learning attitude,the engineering thinking,the technical acquisition,the language expression and so on quantitative and qualitative analysis teaching implementation effect.Fourth,based on the results of the study to reach a conclusion.The research result of this paper is to construct a high school biology teaching design model based on STEM education concept and design teaching flow.Through questionnaire,interview and test,the design model of high school biology teaching based on STEM education can help students to acquire biological knowledge.It can promote students' engineering thinking,technology acquisition and language expression.
