As an important part of the core quality of history,historical thinking plays an inestimable role in the construction and all-round development of human thinking.On the one hand,historical thinking is an important part of quality education,guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism,is a kind of scientific and rational thinking habits,is to guide the human society forward,to the good development of the excellent quality of thinking.On the other hand,our country has a good tradition of history,which is one of the important reasons why our culture can have a long history of thousands of years,those excellent history books all reveal the wisdom of our country's historians,and the wisdom of our ancient people.These wisdom is the spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation,is the treasure of our nation,and historical thinking is to open the spiritual wealth,the key to inherit these outstanding wisdom.However,through the understanding of the current situation of Chinese middle school students' historical thinking,the form is not optimistic.On the one hand,under the influence of the traditional education mode,there is a lack of attention to students' comprehensive quality.On the other hand,due to the imbalance of regional economic development and the restriction of educational evaluation system,students and parents lack the recognition of cultivating middle school students' historical thinking.However,with the new curriculum reform,the core quality has been paid more and more attention by the society and people.therefore,cultivating the middle school students' historical thinking in history teaching has become an important content of history teaching research.The research direction is divided into several kinds: how to cultivate students' historical thinking,how to apply historical thinking to the classroom and how to use historical thinking to improve students' learning efficiency.It is very maneuverability and pertinence to train the historical thinking of middle school students.Nowadays,the methods of social teaching are becoming more and more diverse,multimedia teaching,practical teaching,situational teaching and so on,these methods have great benefit to the teaching.The cultivation of the historical thinking of middle school students should take advantage of these new teaching methods,and at the same time,it has the strategic and targeted teaching.The development of historical thinking is of great significance to the whole history teaching of middle school.On the one hand,it promotes the development of students' thinking ability and subjective initiative,and also promotes the renewal and transformation of teachers' teaching ideas,as well as the development of teachers' professional competence.On the other hand,historical thought,as an important part of the core quality of the history discipline,has also promoted the innovation of the history teaching mode,teaching process and teaching evaluation.
