| The new edition of History Curriculum Standard in 2013 puts forward that the core of history teaching should be to change the way of learning,pay attention to the learning process of students,and pay attention to the cultivation of students’abilities.The application of Teaching methods of historical materials in junior high school history teaching can enrich the content and form of history teaching classroom,add interest to history teaching,train students’ability to solve historical problems through analyzing historical materials,and ideas in line with the new curriculum standards.Lingxia Town Middle School is located in the rural area of Baicheng City,Jilin Province.It has a large number of Mongolian students.Therefore,in the course of teaching historical materials,it introduces Mongolian related historical materials,combines local historical materials and pays attention to the sense of national unity,showing certain teaching characteristics.At the same time,due to the limitation of teaching conditions and other factors,the teaching of historical materials in Lingxia Town Middle School has some problems that need to be improved.By means of questionnaires and interviews,this paper investigates nine history teachers and 200 students in Lingxia Town Middle School and five teachers.The full text is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance of this study,the research status at home and abroad in this field,and the research methods and innovations;the second part is the related concepts and teaching methods of historical materials,introducing the core concepts,theoretical basis and application methods of teaching historical materials;the third part is the present situation of teaching historical materials in Lingxia Town Middle School of Baicheng City,Jilin Province,from the perspective of teaching historical materials.The basic situation and teaching characteristics,teaching cases of historical materials and the problems and causes of teaching of historical materials are analyzed.The fourth part is the improvement plan of teaching of historical materials in Lingxia Town Middle School of Baicheng City,Jilin Province,including the summary of teaching of historical materials in Lingxia Town Middle School and the suggestions for improving teaching of historical materials.The last part is the conclusion.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The number of history teachers in Lingxia Town Middle School is difficult to meet the actual teaching needs.Most of the history teachers in Lingxia Town Middle School can correctly understand the necessity of teaching historical materials and historical materials.Image historical materials,material historical materials,extracurricular historical materials and inquiry teaching mode are the types of historical materials and teaching methods that students like better.The teaching of historical materials plays an active role in the teaching of history.(2)there are some problems in the teaching of historical materials in Lingxia Town Middle School,such as the quantity of applied historical materials is small,the overall quality is not high and the use method is single,which restricts the teaching effect of historical materials.(3)Middle school teachers in Lingxia Town should actively practice the new concept of classroom teaching,improve their own historical literacy,improve their ability to use historical materials,enrich the organizational form of teaching historical materials,display historical materials in a pluralistic way,train students’ ability to solve historical problems by using historical materials,train students’ historical thinking and give full play to the positive role of teaching historical materials. |
