Education is the activity of facing human life,and the duty of teachers is teaching and educating students.With the issuance of Curriculum Reform of Elementary Education and the requirement of Quality Education,our country and society pay more attention to the realization of human's value,and teachers are given more responsibility.In order to meet the requirements of social development,teachers should focus on cultivating students' innovation spirit and practice ability,the complexity of human and the diversity of educational situation require that teachers must have certain autonomy to choose the appropriate method and handle teaching problems timely according to different situations.This study is divided into five parts around the subject of junior high school teachers'teaching autonomy.In the introduction,this study explains the research background,the research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,the research purpose and meaning and so on.The second part starts with the concept of autonomy,analyzes the basic concepts of the junior high school youth elite teachers' teaching autonomy,the essence characteristic,theoretical basis and implementation necessity of teaching autonomy.In the third part,the author launches questionnaire and in-depth interviews in view of junior high school of Hunan province young elite teachers based on the basic theory and the necessity of teaching autonomy.The questionnaire can be divided into five aspects:the choice of teaching content,the right to use the teaching method,the rights of organizing class activities,the rights of evaluating teaching effect,the rights to participate in teaching and research.The survey results are processed by descriptive statistics and differential analysis by SPSS 19.0.It also analyzes the restrictive factors that affect the junior high school teachers' usage of autonomy in teaching.At the same time,the author selects 24 junior high school young elite teachers of Hunan province in-depth interviews randomly,and the interview results are reflected in the follow-up.We get the following conclusions through the analysis of the questionnaire:There is no significant difference of genders in the usage of teaching autonomy among elite junior high school teachers.The elite teachers whose teaching age are 21 years and above have high degree of exercising autonomy in teaching content,teaching method and teaching evaluation,and the teaching age for 6-10 years elite teachers have high degree of autonomy in organizing class activities and participating in the teaching and research in terms of the mean.The different positions of elite teachers are analyzed,the principals' evaluation rights are bigger in evaluating,middle managers' right to exercise the most in other dimensions in terms of the mean.The different subjects of elite teachers are analyzed,arts subjects are above the science subjects in teaching autonomy volume table,teaching method and teaching evaluation,but there are no significant differences in other dimensions.The different grades of elite teachers are analyzed,the first grade teachers in junior high school exercise have higher degree of autonomy in organizing class activities than the third grade teachers.Teachers of all grades are significantly higher than other administrative teachers in the right to participate in teaching research,but there are no significant differences in other dimensions.The different school areas of elite teachers are analyzed,township and county teachers are significantly higher than the city teachers in organizing class activities,but there are no significant differences in other dimensions.The fourth part is explaining the influence factors to exercise autonomy in teaching for teachers,and puts forward the strategies to improve junior high school teachers to exercise autonomy in teaching accordingly.The fifth part of conclusion and prospect is a summary of the results of the study,the author hopes that more researcher will be involved in the research of teaching autonomy.The teacher as the first-line workers in education and teaching whose life is committed to promote the development of students' body and mind,develop students'creativity and cultivate them to become the people what social need.The teacher is the soul of education,their ability to have a certain degree of autonomy in education and teaching is a prerequisite for teachers to fully exert their enthusiasm,initiative,and autonomy.It is also a teacher's necessary conditions to finish teaching goal and task effectively.
