All professionals have professional autonomy.Teachers,as quasi-professionals,also have professional autonomy.As a kind of professional autonomy,teaching autonomy is a significance and has value to promote teachers' professional development,it will improve teaching quality too.In reality,however,teaching autonomy is often not guaranteed,or is misused.Therefore,how to protect teachers' teaching autonomy and prevent its abuse becomes a problem that teachers in elementary and middle schools have to face.This paper focuses on the maintenance and rational application of teaching autonomy of primary and middle school teachers.To explore the central theme,the paper first describes the concept and scope of the teacher's teaching autonomy and boundary is defined,and then discusses the teachers have the inner basis of teaching autonomy and significance.In order to verify the primary and secondary school teachers in the exercise of autonomy in the teaching,the author choose some county in three middle school,using the individual interview method,analyses the present situation of using the autonomy of teachers teaching the investigation.According to a survey.Primary and middle school teachers do have shortcomings in ownership and use of teaching autonomy.Aiming at the existing problem of the general,papers on a number of factors that influences the use of the teaching autonomy has carried on the analysis,on this basis,according to the maintenance and reasonable use of the teaching autonomy put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions.Paper studies suggest that teachers' teaching autonomy is because of the complexity of the teachers' labor itself,it constitutes the basic kernel of teachers' professional ethics,is the social give teachers working group legal rights,and dignity of teachers enjoy career internal sources,and is the inevitable requirement of promoting teachers' professional development.The degree of teachers' teaching autonomy,mainly with the historical and cultural traditions,industrial production mode,dissecting the management,the degree of specialization of teacher group,on the personality characteristics of teachers.For maintenance and the correct use of teachers' teaching autonomy,it is necessary to correctly understand the particularity of teachers' professional work,to improve teachers' professional level of the industry as a whole and dialectical view of the standardization of teachers' training and personalized;Build for teachers' autonomous development of humanistic environment,advocate the study and research,make the integration of the professional way of life,construction of peer mutual communication of professional learning community.
