In recent years,bullying and violence on campus are on the rise and they are becoming more and more serious.However,school bullying is not only a new issue that has only appeared in recent years,but a perennial problem.It’s a common problem all over the world and it is a interpersonal conflict that is easy to occur in the process of socialization of teenagers.It will seriously affect the healthy growth of teenagers and even become a psychological shadow that they can hardly erase for the rest of their lives.Especially in rural areas,the problems of campus bullying are interwoven with the factors of left-behind,economic,and social development level.It is easy to be ignored and more harmful,so we should pay more attention to it.This research focused on the school bullying in rural middle schools.We revealed the current situation of school bullying,analyzed the reasons,explored the corresponding countermeasures,and put forward the practical suggestions by using the questionnaire and interview.This research defines the school bullying by summarizing the viewpoints of experts and scholars at home and abroad on school bullying.It refers to the dominant side of the students attacks the disadvantaged deliberately and repeatedly on their mental and physical to make them feel miserable.Through the questionnaire survey of 250 students from two rural middle schools in Zhumadian and interviewed some students and teachers,it found that the middle school students have a clear understanding of school bullying and the influence of grade and gender on school bullying was not significant,but the influence of physical and personality was obvious.In these six kinds of bullying,the physical bullying and verbal bullying were most common in rural middle schools.Most school bullying was easy to take place in the remote corner of campus,such as toilet,dormitory,playground,etc.And schools,societies,families and students all have an unshirkable responsibility.All in all,the occurrence of bullying in rural middle schools is affected by many things.Firstly,it is related to students’ personality,interpersonal relationship and moral development level.Secondly,it is related to the parenting style,the family structure and the educational level of their parents.Thirdly,it is related to the schools’ daily management system,schools’ moral education level and teachers’ teaching management level.In addition,it is inextricably linked with the social atmosphere and the influence of the mass media.According to the analysis of these factors,this article expounds the countermeasures and suggestions for preventing and reducing bullying in rural middle schools from the individuals,families,schools,teachers and the society.Firstly,on the personal side,they should actively strengthen their self-cultivation,enhance abilities of education by themselves,establish a good relationship with their classmates and cultivate the moral behavior habit of the unity of knowledge and practice.Secondly,the family should actively participate in communication,strengthen the communication between parents,between parents and their children,between families and schools,and create a good family atmosphere.Thirdly,the school should improve the overall level of students’ management,moral education,psychological health education and home-school cooperation,and create a good campus environment.Fourthly,teachers should make use of students’ management methods reasonably,improve the coping skills,establish a good relationship with students and a good class atmosphere,and strengthen the integration of moral education in classroom and daily management.Finally,the government and the media should take corresponding responsibilities and work together to create a good social atmosphere and media environment.
