With the development of information,data as an information carrier is particularly important.It can be said that statistics is a science and art of data analysis.In 2011,the Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education(revised edition)changed the previous statistical concepts to data analysis concepts,highlighting the role of data analysis.Domestic and foreign experts and scholars have increasingly studied this core concept.Most of the international studies focus on statistical literacy research.Domestic research focuses on the interpretation of data analysis concepts,practical teaching,and status quo investigations.However,the status quo of the development level of student data analysis concepts is still in dispute and has not yet been reached.A unified conclusion.Based on literature,interviews with teachers and students,this paper revised and established the framework for the development of cognitive level of data analysis concepts.A self-designed questionnaire was used to test five elementary schools in Xinxiang City.490 students in sixth grade were tested.The status quo and problems of students in the data analysis concepts were investigated.Related suggestions for cultivating the concept of data analysis for primary school students were proposed.Teachers' teaching provides some references.Throughout the entire research process,the connotation of the data analysis concept was first analyzed;secondly,the appropriate evaluation framework was modified and established,followed by testing,investigation,and analysis;and finally,related recommendations were put forward.Based on this,the content of this study can be summed up in the following four points:(1)the connotation and constituent elements of the data analysis concept of primary school students;(2)the evaluation framework of data analysis concepts of sixth grade students;(3)the status of data analysis concept of primary school students And problems;(4)Strategies and suggestions for cultivating and improving students' data analysis concepts.Based on the empirical investigation,we have obtained the following conclusions:(1)The overall level of sixth-grade students' awareness and comprehension of the data is not high;(2)As a whole,sixth-grade students are lacking in the application of data analysis methods;(3)Students have a good grasp of randomness awareness and perception,but are still far away from the teacher's teaching expectations;(4)Male students are better than girls in the data analysis concept level.Recalling the above work,the significance of this study is twofold.First,based on systematically summarizing existing researches on data analysis concepts,the evaluation framework for data analysis concepts of primary school students has been revised and established,and the direction for future research has been identified;,To better understand the performance and problems of primary school students in the data analysis concept to help teachers improve teaching,and then enrich practical research in mathematics education research.
