“Data analysis concept”is one of the ten core concepts proposed in the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition).The cultivation of core literacy is the fundamental task achieved by junior middle school mathematics teachers in the process of teaching implementation.At present,What is the level of students,concept of data analysis? What factors affect the development of students,concept of data analysis? How to cultivate students,concept of data analysis through teaching? These are the core issues of statistics teaching.In this study,the conceptual literacy of data analysis is divided into four dimensions: the consciousness of collecting data,the consciousness of understanding the information contained in the data,the consciousness of selecting data analysis methods,and the consciousness of data randomness.The students of three schools are tested according to these four dimensions.Through the test,we can understand the current situation of students,data analysis concept,analyze the relevant factors that affect students,data analysis concept,and put forward suggestions on cultivating students,data analysis concept.The test results show that:(1)The cultivation of data analysis concept of junior middle school students is obviously insufficient.On the whole,the situation of students,data analysis concept in each school is B>C>A,but the average scores of the three schools are obviously low.Generally speaking,students,data analysis concept is closely related to the quality of running a school.(2)The data analysis concept of junior middle school students is not balanced in all dimensions.Through the comparison of the scoring rates in each dimension of the data analysis concept of the three schools,it is concluded that the scoring rates of the three schools in the four dimensions are not high,but they are relatively better in the dimension of understanding the information contained in the data.Students need to focus on improving their awareness of data collection and data randomness.(3)Gender has little influence on the data analysis concept of junior middle school students.There is no significant gender difference in the overall situation of students,data analysis concept in the three schools;In the four dimensions,there is gender difference in data analysis method,while there is no significant difference in the other three dimensions.(4)Students do not adapt to the more open topics in statistical probability.The test question have certain openness.The test results show that students,mathematical thinking ability is insufficient.According to the results of the research and the results of the interviews with teachers,some teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)Pay attention to the creation of data analysis scenarios.(2)Pay attention to the introduction of real cases of data analysis.(3)Pay attention to let students experience the process of data analysis.(4)Pay attention to the introduction of data analysis methods.(5)Pay attention to students,differences and teach students according to their aptitude.(6)Pay attention to teachers,own teaching and reflective ability.(7)Pay attention to the teaching of open topics.
